Whether or not covered in leather overalls and plastic laden boots. Being a real rider is a journey that’s more internal than what meets the eye.

A journey that has many paths and yet has some truth that’s only being explored by the true.

There are a few traits that the finest of riders rally over time. And other times, time on the saddle rally a rider. But weaving these traits is what a real rider is truly connected with.

Who is this real rider?

Backpack or Saddlebag — There is always baggage

A rider himself carries a bag of socially forced ethics right from first glance. Everything from the bike he rides to the clothes and protection he wares carry a certain baggage from other road-goers.

Sooner or later though, every rider realizes social impact of being socially aware, the cost of riding on public roads without such basics can be expensive. And the blessings of encountering ‘that-one-socially-aware-rider’ can mean that you were in time to catch your flight.

Wax-on Wax-off

Show me a riders gear and his bike and I can be a pretty good judge of the quality of the biker in him.

-A wise bloke

A wise rider knows his machine inside out, spending quality time bonding with his machine and time of the saddle to learn what keeps his machine ticking. This is not left without applying this knowledge in the real world, grounding the rider and his riding experience.

Comfort =Speed

Not enough has been said on the importance of choosing your class of bike, often because one is drawn to a specific machine even before he makes the choice. In this process one aspect that is overlooked more often than not is, how comfortable the rider feels on the bike. And could mean understanding the bike more than swinging your legs over the saddle and grabbing the bars.

For more athletic rider personalities, its about finding the balance between you and you machine. Getting comfortable as a whole can sometimes mean — tweaking your fitness or bike geometry of the saddle to bring in the wholeness of comfort to extract the best out of your machine.

Keep calm and carry on

Motorcycles are lightweight machine, that's probably one of the most efficient ways to get around. Tat being said the stakes are high and a small mistake can leave you exposed to the hash elements of nature or other man-made objects for that matter. In these moments its important to let go, stay aware, keep that confidence and keep moving forward. Just remember that the forces of nature are with you. If you need that space for a calm breath, take that moment before your back on the throttle.

May the force be with you

Motorcycle riding is an exhilarating experience- no doubt. Its something about maintaining the balance between two wheels and the wind directly on your face that can keep you hooked.

We have all heard of the biker swinging his legs to let off some steam, connect with nature and regain peace. The fact is it does just that, and its important for every one of us to keep this thought in our mind while we swing our leg over the saddles so we are aware of the blissful moments that are coming up.

Share what moved you in your moto experience :)
